How to uninstall or remove libasound2-udeb software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libasound2-udeb package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libasound2-udeb

Uninstall libasound2-udeb including dependent package

If you would like to remove libasound2-udeb and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libasound2-udeb

Use Purging libasound2-udeb

If you use with purge options to libasound2-udeb package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libasound2-udeb

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libasound2-udeb
