How to uninstall or remove libasio-doc software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libasio-doc package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libasio-doc

Uninstall libasio-doc including dependent package

If you would like to remove libasio-doc and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libasio-doc

Use Purging libasio-doc

If you use with purge options to libasio-doc package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libasio-doc

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libasio-doc
