How to uninstall or remove libapr1 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libapr1 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libapr1 

Uninstall libapr1 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libapr1 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapr1 
Use Purging libapr1

If you use with purge options to libapr1 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libapr1 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapr1
