How to uninstall or remove libapiextractor0.10 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libapiextractor0.10 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libapiextractor0.10

Uninstall libapiextractor0.10 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libapiextractor0.10 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapiextractor0.10

Use Purging libapiextractor0.10

If you use with purge options to libapiextractor0.10 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libapiextractor0.10

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapiextractor0.10
