libapache2-authcookie-perl software package provides Perl Authentication and Authorization via cookies, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-authcookie-perl
libapache2-authcookie-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-authcookie-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-authcookie-perl *
You will get with libapache2-authcookie-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
