How to uninstall or remove libantlr3c-dev software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libantlr3c-dev package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libantlr3c-dev

Uninstall libantlr3c-dev including dependent package

If you would like to remove libantlr3c-dev and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libantlr3c-dev
Use Purging libantlr3c-dev

If you use with purge options to libantlr3c-dev package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libantlr3c-dev

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libantlr3c-dev
