How to uninstall or remove libantlr-maven-plugin-java software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libantlr-maven-plugin-java package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libantlr-maven-plugin-java

Uninstall libantlr-maven-plugin-java including dependent package

If you would like to remove libantlr-maven-plugin-java and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libantlr-maven-plugin-java

Use Purging libantlr-maven-plugin-java

If you use with purge options to libantlr-maven-plugin-java package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libantlr-maven-plugin-java

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libantlr-maven-plugin-java
