How to uninstall or remove lib64mudflap0 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed lib64mudflap0 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove lib64mudflap0 

Uninstall lib64mudflap0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove lib64mudflap0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib64mudflap0 
Use Purging lib64mudflap0

If you use with purge options to lib64mudflap0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge lib64mudflap0 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib64mudflap0
