How to uninstall or remove lib32ffi6 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed lib32ffi6 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove lib32ffi6

Uninstall lib32ffi6 including dependent package

If you would like to remove lib32ffi6 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib32ffi6
Use Purging lib32ffi6

If you use with purge options to lib32ffi6 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge lib32ffi6

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib32ffi6
