lesstif2-dev software package provides development library and header files for LessTif 2.1, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lesstif2-dev
lesstif2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lesstif2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lesstif2-dev *
You will get with lesstif2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
