How to uninstall or remove leaktracer software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed leaktracer package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove leaktracer 

Uninstall leaktracer including dependent package

If you would like to remove leaktracer and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove leaktracer 
Use Purging leaktracer

If you use with purge options to leaktracer package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge leaktracer 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove leaktracer
