How to Install lcl-gtk2 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

lcl-gtk2 software package provides Lazarus Components Library - GTK+ backend metapackage, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lcl-gtk2

lcl-gtk2 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lcl-gtk2 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lcl-gtk2 *
