How to uninstall or remove lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2

Uninstall lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2

Use Purging lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2

If you use with purge options to lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lazarus-ide-qt4-0.9.30.2
