How to uninstall or remove krecipes-data software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed krecipes-data package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove krecipes-data

Uninstall krecipes-data including dependent package

If you would like to remove krecipes-data and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove krecipes-data

Use Purging krecipes-data

If you use with purge options to krecipes-data package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge krecipes-data

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove krecipes-data
