krb5-multidev software package provides Development files for MIT Kerberos without Heimdal conflict, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install krb5-multidev
krb5-multidev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the krb5-multidev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep krb5-multidev *
You will get with krb5-multidev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
