kplayer software package provides A KDE media player based on MPlayer, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kplayer
kplayer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kplayer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kplayer *
You will get with kplayer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
