knocker software package provides a simple and easy to use TCP security port scanner, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install knocker
knocker is installed in your system.
Make ensure the knocker package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep knocker *
You will get with knocker package name, version, architecture and description in a table
