How to uninstall or remove klog software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed klog package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove klog 

Uninstall klog including dependent package

If you would like to remove klog and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove klog 
Use Purging klog

If you use with purge options to klog package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge klog 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove klog
