klibc-utils software package provides small utilities built with klibc for early boot, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install klibc-utils
klibc-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the klibc-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep klibc-utils *
You will get with klibc-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
