How to Install kig software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

kig software package provides interactive geometry tool for KDE, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kig

kig is installed in your system.

Make ensure the kig package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kig *

You will get with kig package name, version, architecture and description in a table
