kdebase-workspace-dbg software package provides transitional package for kde-workspace-dbg, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdebase-workspace-dbg
kdebase-workspace-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdebase-workspace-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdebase-workspace-dbg *
You will get with kdebase-workspace-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
