How to Install kcollectd software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

kcollectd software package provides simple collectd graphing frontend for KDE, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kcollectd

kcollectd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the kcollectd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kcollectd *

You will get with kcollectd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
