How to uninstall or remove k9copy software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed k9copy package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove k9copy 

Uninstall k9copy including dependent package

If you would like to remove k9copy and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove k9copy 
Use Purging k9copy

If you use with purge options to k9copy package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge k9copy 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove k9copy
