How to uninstall or remove jenkins-ssh-cli-auth software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed jenkins-ssh-cli-auth package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove jenkins-ssh-cli-auth

Uninstall jenkins-ssh-cli-auth including dependent package

If you would like to remove jenkins-ssh-cli-auth and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jenkins-ssh-cli-auth

Use Purging jenkins-ssh-cli-auth

If you use with purge options to jenkins-ssh-cli-auth package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge jenkins-ssh-cli-auth

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jenkins-ssh-cli-auth
