jenkins-instance-identity software package provides Instance identity management module for Jenkins CI, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jenkins-instance-identity
jenkins-instance-identity is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jenkins-instance-identity package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jenkins-instance-identity *
You will get with jenkins-instance-identity package name, version, architecture and description in a table
