jd software package provides simple browser for 2ch-style web forum sites, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jd
jd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jd *
You will get with jd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
