jbig2dec software package provides JBIG2 decoder library - tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jbig2dec
jbig2dec is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jbig2dec package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jbig2dec *
You will get with jbig2dec package name, version, architecture and description in a table
