javahelper software package provides Helper scripts for packaging Java programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install javahelper
javahelper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the javahelper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep javahelper *
You will get with javahelper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
