iso-codes software package provides ISO language, territory, currency, script codes and their translations, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iso-codes
iso-codes is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iso-codes package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iso-codes *
You will get with iso-codes package name, version, architecture and description in a table
