iscsitarget-dkms software package provides iSCSI Enterprise Target kernel module source - dkms version, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install iscsitarget-dkms
iscsitarget-dkms is installed in your system.
Make ensure the iscsitarget-dkms package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iscsitarget-dkms *
You will get with iscsitarget-dkms package name, version, architecture and description in a table
