How to Install iptotal software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

iptotal software package provides monitor for IP traffic, not requiring SNMP, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install iptotal 

iptotal is installed in your system.

Make ensure the iptotal package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep iptotal *

You will get with iptotal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
