$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install intercal 

intercal is installed in your system.

Make ensure the intercal package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep intercal *

You will get with intercal package name, version, architecture and description in a table

intercal package basic information:
