indicator-weather software package provides indicator that displays weather information, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install indicator-weather
indicator-weather is installed in your system.
Make ensure the indicator-weather package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep indicator-weather *
You will get with indicator-weather package name, version, architecture and description in a table
