indicator-status-provider-tele software package provides indicator-messages status provider for telepathy (pre-mc5), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install indicator-status-provider-tele
indicator-status-provider-tele is installed in your system.
Make ensure the indicator-status-provider-tele package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep indicator-status-provider-tele*
You will get with indicator-status-provider-tele package name, version, architecture and description in a table
