ifmetric software package provides Set routing metrics for a network interface, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ifmetric
ifmetric is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ifmetric package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ifmetric *
You will get with ifmetric package name, version, architecture and description in a table
