ideviceinstaller software package provides Utility to manage installed applications on an iDevice, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ideviceinstaller
ideviceinstaller is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ideviceinstaller package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ideviceinstaller *
You will get with ideviceinstaller package name, version, architecture and description in a table
