How to Install id3 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

id3 software package provides An ID3 Tag Editor, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install id3

id3 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the id3 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep id3 *

You will get with id3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
