How to uninstall or remove icon-slicer software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed icon-slicer package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove icon-slicer 

Uninstall icon-slicer including dependent package

If you would like to remove icon-slicer and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove icon-slicer 
Use Purging icon-slicer

If you use with purge options to icon-slicer package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge icon-slicer 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove icon-slicer
