How to uninstall or remove ichthux-emoticons software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed ichthux-emoticons package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove ichthux-emoticons 

Uninstall ichthux-emoticons including dependent package

If you would like to remove ichthux-emoticons and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ichthux-emoticons 
Use Purging ichthux-emoticons

If you use with purge options to ichthux-emoticons package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge ichthux-emoticons 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ichthux-emoticons
