hpodder software package provides Tool to scan and download podcasts (podcatcher), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hpodder
hpodder is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hpodder package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hpodder *
You will get with hpodder package name, version, architecture and description in a table
