gtkpod software package provides manage songs and playlists on an Apple iPod, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gtkpod
gtkpod is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gtkpod package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gtkpod *
You will get with gtkpod package name, version, architecture and description in a table
