How to uninstall or remove gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio

Uninstall gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio including dependent package

If you would like to remove gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio

Use Purging gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio

If you use with purge options to gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio
