gsql-mysql-engine software package provides MySQL engine for GSQL, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gsql-mysql-engine
gsql-mysql-engine is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gsql-mysql-engine package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gsql-mysql-engine *
You will get with gsql-mysql-engine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
