grub-efi software package provides GRand Unified Bootloader, version 2 (dummy package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grub-efi
grub-efi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grub-efi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grub-efi *
You will get with grub-efi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
