How to Install groff software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

groff software package provides GNU troff text-formatting system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install groff

groff is installed in your system.

Make ensure the groff package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep groff *

You will get with groff package name, version, architecture and description in a table
