How to uninstall or remove gpsk31 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gpsk31 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gpsk31 

Uninstall gpsk31 including dependent package

If you would like to remove gpsk31 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gpsk31 
Use Purging gpsk31

If you use with purge options to gpsk31 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gpsk31 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gpsk31
