How to uninstall or remove gperf-ace software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gperf-ace package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gperf-ace 

Uninstall gperf-ace including dependent package

If you would like to remove gperf-ace and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gperf-ace 
Use Purging gperf-ace

If you use with purge options to gperf-ace package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gperf-ace 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gperf-ace
