gpe-shield software package provides firewall configuration for GPE, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gpe-shield
gpe-shield is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gpe-shield package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpe-shield *
You will get with gpe-shield package name, version, architecture and description in a table
