gpe-mixer software package provides audio mixer frontend for GPE, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gpe-mixer
gpe-mixer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gpe-mixer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpe-mixer *
You will get with gpe-mixer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
