gpe-login software package provides login window for the G Palmtop Environment, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gpe-login
gpe-login is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gpe-login package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpe-login *
You will get with gpe-login package name, version, architecture and description in a table
